Our Framework

In November 2010, GDCA published the Data Center Energy Efficiency Framework (DCEEF) which was created through an Innovation Grant from the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA). DCEEF seeks to assist data center owners with a logic set (30 Remediation Plans) of end user validated programs that reduce CAPEX and OPEX relative to power consumption. Each subsequent year we will build on DCEEF adding data, solutions and additional best practices through our membership, vendor and end user validated results and through our Call for Best Practices which begins in May.
